Starting the perimeter fence.

After we cleared the perimeter, we set the 10 ft utility poles in the ground. The holes were dug with a post hole digger and packed firmly with a tamping rod, which is a very heavy metal tool that is flat on one side and dull point on the other. We then set pipe between the poles for strength, securing them with nails. Next the t-posts were set 10 ft apart with the help of our neighbor and his bobcat.
