The day of the pour has arrived and it is a beautiful day. It has almost been raining nonstop for weeks and it looks like it will continue for the next few weeks.
Elario, the cement head guy, had estimated 20 cu yds, plus maybe a little more. When you order cement you have to let them know ahead how many trucks a job needs. So by the time Elario figured out we did not even need a full 2nd truck it was too late.They were on their way with 3 yds more than we needed, that is $300.00 .
So Elario formed up another large step that maybe took a yd of cement, that helped, but is is hard to trust someone you believe knows what is needed for a job, Just as a back up I should have figured it myself just as a second opinion. O WELL ! It is all part of the journey!
